Vaughn Fauria, the Executive Director and President of NewCorp, Inc. since September 1997, works closely with Minority Business Enterprises (MBE’s), Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE’s), and women owned businesses in order to help them grow and prosper. Under her leadership NewCorp was designated a Department of the United States Treasury Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) as well as the distinction of becoming the SBA Micro Lender for the State of Louisiana. Vaughn provides the leadership and strategic direction for all of NewCorp's initiatives. She is the face of the company, chief fundraiser, marketing director, community advocate and coordinator of the business's programs. She is dedicated to creating wealth for underserved communities and has relentlessly worked to provide opportunities to small businesses that may not have always been available. Mrs.Fauria continues to serve as an activist for equality and opportunity.
